These amazing Christmas babies were born on December 24th. These pudgeballs are so loved and cared for, as well as very socialized.
Mom Remi is a Maltese/shitzu cross. She is extremely smart and sensitive. She loves cuddling and being loved on. She is a wonderful, doting mother to her two babies.
Dad Ollie comes from a professional background. His mother performs in show competitions in Texas!

Our focus is on small-scale breeding with an emphasis on health and temperament and promoting rats as amazing pocket pets for families! Working with other top Canadian breeders and have some very well established pedigreed dwarf and standard lines with excellent temperament, health and longevity! Dwarf rats from these lines average micro to regular size 80-150grams, 3.5-4years lifespan, reduced/no risk of tumors and less triggering for allergies! Our standard size vary from 400grams to 700+ grams.
Ethical breeding is very important to us, tracking genetics and only breeding rats who are healthy and excellent temperament. we keep our numbers down to ensure a lot of 1:1 time for our babies and adults. Our rats live in large 2-4 level critter nation cages with excellent enrichment to encourage natural foraging and climbing/exploring, fed a natural based diet, and receive extensive time outside the cage each day and handling right from day one. This focus on a natural start with early handling and exposure to new sounds/situations is valuable in contributing to optimal development. Also increased confidence when they go to their new homes.
Our rats are also tested free of any zoonotic diseases and report can be provided to ensure no public health risk. We offer a no nonsense health and temperament warranty (refund or replacement) and excellent breeder support for the lifetime of our rats to ensure satisfied buyers and that none of our rats wind up in rescue situations.
