Hello, I'm a 53-year-old single female seeking a tidy and responsible roommate to share my two-bedroom basement suite, available February 1, 2020.
The home is located close to the highway in Cobble Hill, with a beautiful yard and is very quiet and serene. My daughter and her husband own the home and live in the upper suite with their 3-year-old daughter. You must like dogs, but not have/want one, as there are three upstairs and one of my own in the suite (all are smaller dogs). You'd also have to be ok with my granddaughter coming down for a visit once in a while.
The suite is spacious and bright with good soundproofing and has a large kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher. The available room is the bigger of the two, with a large closet and is close to the bathroom. The entrance is through the back yard, so you'd have to be mindful to not let the dogs out. There's plenty of parking available, and shared laundry upstairs through the garage.
The price is all-inclusive with WiFi, water, heat, propane, garbage and recycling (no cable).
Absolutely NO partying or drugs; this is a family home.
The room could either be furnished or left unfurnished -- totally up to you. The room has been freshly painted in grey and the basement suite is slowly being upgraded (looks a bit different than in the pictures), and the flooring will be done next.
