Mark Winkelman – Mark has been practicing HEMA for 18 years, with 15 years instructing at the Forge in Calgary, and regularly competes in tournament events. He also practices two schools of koryu Japanese swordsmanship: Kageryu battojutsu and Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu kenjutsu. Finally, he is an avid grappler, having achieved the rank of brown belt in Judo.
