Albino Mexican Milksnakes

Mexican Milksnakes, 'Lampropeltis triangulum annulata', are medium size (25-35 inches), docile, easy to handle, and usually become more confident with age. They are very reluctant to bite, and unlike other milksnakes, are not likely to musk on you either.

Mexican Milksnakes have become quite rare in the hobby and pure albino morphs are extremely hard to find. The albino mutation resulted from the collection of Susan Hardy (pictures 1 and 2), which had limited fertility and were out-crossed by Bob Applegate to create a stable, but still pure line of albino annulata, that breed more successfully. Our animals were imported from the US and origin from Bob Applegate's line. They had a successful clutch every year for the past three years for us. Picture 3 shows one of our 2024 juveniles and pictures 4 to 7 show the parent animals.

We are a family of private hobby breeders and we have one 2022 and one 2023 hold-back juvenile and a few 2024 juveniles available. We can send more pictures of the juveniles if you are interested. The juveniles are healthy and vibrant and feed readily on frozen/thawed rodents.
