Room Available in a Two-Bedroom Downtown Apartment
Description
In search of a roommate for a room available in a two bedroom downtown apartment. Looking for a roommate who is clean, quiet, and preferably also pursuing higher-education to share this space. The previous roommate has moved off-island to pursue a career post-graduation.
This apartment is in a condo complex located downtown, with the kitchen and living room on the main level, and bedrooms, bathrooms and private laundry in the basement. The living room and kitchen are currently furnished, but the photos are from when the apartment was vacant for privacy reasons. The available bedroom is unfurnished.
Available room (pictured) has a large, bright window and private closet for storage. There is an additional shared closet on the main level available for both tenants. Private washer and dryer are located in-unit for use between the two tenants. Bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and has a shared linen closet and vanity drawers.
Currently one adult cat is living in this apartment. Open to other pets (pending landlord approval), preferably another adult cat, who is well taken care of and up to date on veterinary care.
The current tenant is a young adult working full-time, and is pursuing their Master's degree this winter.
Rent is $842.50 per month, and does not include electricity or wifi, which are shared between the tenants. Average costs are as follows:
- WiFi: $96/month, $42 per tenant
- Electricity: Averages from $120-200/month, $60-100 per tenant (varies between seasons due to hot water and electric heat)
Unit currently only has one parking spot which is in use, but another may be able to be obtained through another condo unit.
