Re-Homing of 3 year old German Shepard
Description
Everyone this is Eddie!
We love Eddie but it’s getting to the point where he needs more room to run around, and have someone that can work with him consistently and provide him a forever home!
-Eddie is a 3 year old male German Shepard, he is a big boy at about 100 pounds.
-He is fixed, and up to date with shots.
-He gets along with other dogs pretty well, we’ve always been particular on the dogs we surround him with.
-As for cats, he thinks they want to play with him, but doesn’t realize how big he truly is! We have a cat currently and he just follows him around all the time haha.
-Follows basic commands well ( sit, stay, lay down, speak)
-Loves to walk, walks very well with his training collar
-He has a bit of separation anxiety, will follow you anywhere
-I’m unsure how he would be with younger kids (toddlers) as he hasn’t really been exposed to that yet!
-Crate trained, just needs to hear “kennel” and he’ll run right in
-House trained also, he will let you know when he needs to go!
- ideally would be best suited for someone that understands Shepards, and how he’s a working dog that requires a lot of attention.
I’m not looking for $ compensation as he is truly my best friend. I just want to find him a forever home where someone can provide him the love and care he deserves.
I can include feeding dishes, kennel, training collars, multiple leashes. Invisible Fence Pods x 2 along with the invisible fence collar.
Rehoming steps:
1) come meet Eddie in our home
2) we will bring Eddie to meet in your home to get comfortable
3) another meeting/stay a night and see how it goes
4) possibly do a few weeks to make sure all goes well
5) final move
(Open to alternative transition plans as well)
Only request I have is to meet with any person interested. To ensure they are a good fit.
Thanks for your time.
