ISO work for room and board

Hey yall!!
I'm looking for a position in southern Ontario that includes room and board. I'm also hunting around on the Workaway website, but thought kijiji might be an interesting option. Fingers crossed :D
I have experience in:
- Animal care. I’ve worked on numerous private farms, at a vet clinic, and with the humane society. I *love* working with animals, especially farm animals. I’ve taken care of any and all animals from dogs and cats to horses and goats to peacocks and chickens.
- Housekeeping. I was a live-in caretaker for an elderly person and helped her with medication, getting dressed, cleaning the house, and running errands.
- Admin and assistance work. As a very organized person, I’ve always done well with admin work. Schedules, inventory, planning, etc., are fun to me.
Over the years, I’ve done house-sitting alone for up to four months. Whenever I was working on a farm, I was also typically working alone. Once I’ve learned a job, I’m very independent about it.
I’m also really eager to learn! I’d absolutely love to end up at a farm where I can learn more about animal care and everything else farm life brings with it. Things like permaculture and off-grid living are extra interesting to me.
I’m a very private person and enjoy my alone time to rest, so I wouldn’t be a bother. I clean up after myself and my dog and cat. I’m hoping for a long-term position, too, and will be ready to start in July 2026. I’m a pretty low key tenant and an upbeat worker overall!
