Resume Writing: Sometimes It’s Better To Hire A Professional!
Description
The employment market has changed.
Most employers are very specific about how they will receive job applications and what an acceptable resume should look like! You may be doing yourself a disservice by sending an outdated resume.
My name is Carrie and I'm a stay at home mom with experience with professional resumes, cover letters, reference letters, interview prep, job searching, LinkedIn optimization etc. One thing you can do to increase your employment opportunities is invest in a new resume. It will pay off!
My resume writing style is PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL and TO-THE-POINT. Always keeping in mind the time and attention spans of recruiters. The reality is that bad resumes will get thrown out.
In the last 10 years, I've worked as an Employment Coach for Bredin Institute, PSDN and Employabilites as well as a Student Advisor at the University of Alberta. I know how to write a good resume!
Over 120 resumes completed in 2018! Past clients include retired RCMP officers, paramedics, accountants, IT developers, teachers, nurses, executive directors (non-profit), various tradespeople, construction workers, oil & gas, office administration, customer service, people with disabilities, students, new grads and newcomers to Canada.
Pricing starts at $65+ and documents are usually completed within a few days. An in person pickup can be arranged (at my home in South Edmonton) or sent via email. You will also receive the resume in a Word document for future editing.
