My name is Daniela and I am a certified personal trainer in the Edmonton area. My passion lies in helping people find the most effective, sustainable, and realistic ways to reach their health goals.
I work independently at the gym SevenPerformance, located close to Whyte Avenue. We pride on creating a safe, inclusive, accessible environment where people can focus on becoming the best version of themselves through movement and physical activity.
Why work with me?
1) I get the job done and exceed expectations as a trainer by learning as much about you and giving you the most individualized, personalized workout program and plan of action. I am not afraid to ask other trusted healthcare professionals on matters that fall outside of my scope of work as a PT.
2) I do not sugarcoat facts. I will tell you what the research, evidence-based articles, and my own experience have taught me in a very honest, caring, and supportive way.
3) While training is hard work, it should also be fun and enjoyable! I will never make you do an exercise you hate, as there are other ways to work a target muscle and/or movement pattern.
4) I am here to empower you and make you feel more confident. I am not here to make you feel bad about your lifestyle, past choices, habits, etc. I genuinely believe you are great and are capable of anything, and I hope the knowledge and expertise I share with you will help you reach your goals in the most realistic, sustainable way possible.
5) You will never hear me recommending/prescribing supplements or unnecessary gadgets. I strongly believe relying on the basics – exercise, good diet, enough sleep, and healthy stress management techniques – is the way to go. The details when it comes to exercise (what type of exercise is best for me, how many reps, how frequent, etc.) are my area of expertise, and I will make sure we pick the best exercises/intensity/frequency for your goals.
6) I am reliable, organized, and accountable for my words and actions. I set high standards and care about being the best, most professional trainer I can be.

Pricing:
My current packages are 12 Personal Training Sessions at $50/session, 8 Personal Training Sessions at $60/session, 4 Personal Training Sessions at $70/session, and drop-in Personal Training Session at $80/session. Sessions are 1 hour long and include assessments (musculoskeletal, anthropometric, and submaximal aerobic), movement analysis, personalized workout program, accountability tracking, discounted access to group classes (contact me for more info on current classes offered), invoice and receipts for tracking and/or insurance purposes, and referrals to qualified healthcare professionals for areas outside of scope of work (i.e. physio, nutrition, psychology). Workout program (no training session) and group training options available as well.
