First published as "The Farmer's almanack, for the year of our Lord 1824", the title was changed to "Belcher's Farmer's Almanack" in 1832. The founder of the Almanac was Clement Horton Belcher. He published the Almanac from 1824 until his death in 1869. After Belcher's death, the firm of McAlpine and Barnes continued the publication under the founder's name until 1930. Includes list of Light Houses on the Coast of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (pp 124-137), and of ships and staff of The Navy (p. 222), and 62 pages of advertisements. Covers browned, edges chipped, overall a good wartime copy. 456 pages.
