VLearn2 Inc. O/A Sylvan Learning - HRM seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager of Business Development, Planning, and Analysis to join our team. We are seeking a candidate with a strong IT background and over 10 years of experience in business analysis and operations. This role is pivotal in expanding our educational services and enhancing our market presence. The successful candidate will leverage their analytical skills and strategic mindset to develop strategic initiatives that drive growth initiatives and enhance our educational services while ensuring alignment with our mission to provide high-quality educational support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with Sylvan’s mission to provide exceptional educational experiences. Set measurable goals and KPIs to track progress.
Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic decisions.
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to formulate innovative sales strategies aimed at increasing enrollment and revenue. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and educational teams to ensure alignment in business development efforts. Facilitate communication between departments to support strategic initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced analytical tools (e.g., Python, data visualization) to assess performance metrics, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with our educational services while exploring opportunities for upselling additional programs.
Team Leadership & Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior staff in business development practices, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving performance goals.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Over 10 years of experience in business analysis, operations management, or a related field within the IT industry.
Required Skills:
Proven track record in developing business strategies that drive growth and enhance operational efficiency.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Excel) and experience conducting performance analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
Experience in leading automation initiatives and streamlining processes for improved productivity.
