Hi, my name is Sophia! I am offering private in-home piano lessons to all ages in Vaughan, ON.
I am a piano teacher with a university degree in Music & Psychology and 5 years of experience teaching the piano (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) and beginner music theory to all ages.

We can learn anything you want regardless of what level you're at! Whether it be from the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum, various child or adult beginner books, pop songs, your favourite songs, music theory, and the list goes on. I ensure to tailor lesson plans to each individual's unique way of learning and personal goals.

I approach teaching with a patient, fun, playful, humourous, and passionate approach. I believe it's important for students to be having fun while learning music, to actually enjoy what they're playing, and to connect and like who they're learning from to ensure more success from lessons. My psychology background has provided me with plenty of knowledge and skills that help me better understand and connect with every student I teach.

I am available to drive to your house to teach the lessons as long as you have a piano or keyboard in your home.

Rates: (if I have to drive very far, I will charge the higher end on the ranges below)

30 minute lesson: $25-30
45 minute lesson: $35-40
1 hour lesson: $45-50
