Katahdin Lambs
Description
We have 12 lambs, (six ewe lambs and six ram lambs) which will be ready to move to a new farm this summer. If you would like to select and book your lamb(s), deposits are being accepted now. The lambs will be naturally weaned and should be ready to go by the end of June to middle of July and they are already quite happy eating grass.
The 6 ram lambs are intact.
Katahdin sheep are a meat breed that does not need shearing, they do well on pasture and have better parasite resistance than that of many other breeds of sheep. If you are looking for a solution to keeping your yard mowed down and have been thinking of getting into keeping sheep, these sheep are easy to care for and fencing is easy and relatively cheap to set up. Add quality stock to your breeding program or perhaps you just want to finish them on your own pasture.
