Meet Wee-man, black piebald mini dachshund male. Weeman is very out going, great with children, other dogs and cats. He has also been exposed to livestock such as goats, llamas, donkies and horses, he does not chase and has a good recall. Great in the vehicle and loves travelling, snuggling up on the couch, playing with his toys or going outside to run. This guy loves being outside! He is house and kennel trained, rarely having accidents. Reluctantly our senior male dachshund is not cohabitating well with another male dog, we’ve been trying to get them to bond for awhile and it’s just not working. We feel it would be in Wee-man’s best interest to have a home without our grouchy old man and therefore the only reason being offered for placement. Wee-man is up to date on his vaccinations, deworming, and nail clippings. Born June 28, 2024, if you’re wanting to skip that puppy stage but still maintaining a life long best friend. Wee-man may be your guy, message or call with any questions. Thank you for considering our little dude

Located in Duncan and currently a spacious home to 14 canaries and gouldian finches, this cage would be ideal for almost any bird(s) or other animals with 1/2" bar spacing. Its 36 wide x 27 deep by 68" tall. I went over to mainland to buy it as they are not available through Wayfair anymore. Four side doors for breeding or feeders and 4 front doors - two large with a smaller door built in door. With the vaulted top this is a very attractive cage. Comes with 3 perches, a few toys and feeders. Bottom tray has a grill and this is on wheels so can be wheeled through a door and hosed once in a while. Can be transported in an SUV or mini van as the roof comes off easily. Delivery may be available with payment ahead from Courtenay to Victoria. Downsizing

Penny is a loyal Velcro dog that requires a single pet household, preferably older children. Leash and kennel trained, all medical records available.
He is the last of a very large litter that we have helped find homes for. His living conditions before we took ownership of him were not great. He has had a rough start.
He currently lives with us in Edmonton Alberta, but I travel frequently to other provinces and am willing to meet with you and discuss if it works out.
If interested please respond to this add through kajin and we will arrange a call to talk about it. I'm not repsonding any other way. This dog will only go to the right home.

Our Cobble Hill (Vancouver Island) herd has been selected and bred with marketable qualities such as length and growth rate in mind, with an emphasis on pasture pork genetic. All of our adult breeding stock met or exceeded our growth rate goal of 200lbs by 12 months old. Each of our breeders have also received their IKHR pork panel genetic report.
Our main focus is pork production but we also sell a few select pigs for breeding each year, and many more to homesteaders who wish to process their own meat. I do my own for our personal consumption and they are a nice size for me to work with.
We offer purebred kunekune meat pigs ranging from freshly weaned to larger grow outs. Freshly-weaned meat piglets (barrows) are $300 each (or $250 each for a group of four or more) and older grow-outs are $5/lb live weight. Intact breeding stock are more expensive and a range of prices can be found on our website.
We love Kunekune because of their docile personalities, their ability to graze on pasture, and their dark red delicious meat. Since they are disinclined to root, ours live in amongst our orchard and vineyard. They keep our land rotationally grazed and fertilize as they go. They are a welcome part of our long-term subsistence farming strategy.
We raise a genetically diverse herd that is carefully monitored for health, regularly dewormed, and vaccinated. The breeding stock we offer represents the best of our breeding program. The majority of our stock is harvested to feed our family and community or sold as companions with breeding stock.
All our Kunekune are registered with International Kunekune Hog Registry (IKHR) and are double registered with the American Kune Kune Pig Society (AKKPS). Mature hogs pictured are part of our breeding program and have litters on the ground or planned litters.
Breeding Stock Currently Available:
Mahia Love (Archer) x Rebecca Gina (Luna) - Born April 24, 2023 (weaned) - 1 gilt availableMeat piglets: Sold out, more weaning in June/July 2024.
Upcoming April/May 2024 Litters (Weaning in June/July):
Boris (Banks) x Tapeka (Ginger Snap)
Mahia Love (Archer) x Jenny (Cedar)Don’t hesitate to ask us any questions. Our farm website can be located by searching for Heritage Hill Farm, Cobble Hill. Our farm logo is a green pear (pictured at the end of the ad). We can also be found on social media under our farm name and logo.
