Rehoming 4 year old spayed German Shepherd
Description
Rehoming because she can't live with small pets - we have cats, and there was an incident.
This is a beautiful German Shepherd dog, very sweet, she loves her people. She is spayed & healthy, only 4 years old. She is allergic to chicken, she eats a combination of Salmon kibble and Venison kibble.
She is excited to meet other large dogs and play rough together. She LOVES to swim, and hike off-leash, has pretty good recall, but will chase deer. Excellent traveling in the car. Has never bit a person or given any red flags, but does bark at strangers and very alert at home. She has been living the life of a spoiled house dog.
She knows many tricks/commands and is eager to learn/food motivated. Kennel trained, non-destructive in the house, house-broken. Likes to dig holes in dirt/grass, but will not dig where there is gravel. Loves toys but does not want to share them with other pets.
This is an excellent active companion for a single person or a couple who want to get outdoors and have adventures with a loyal and beautiful dog. No idea how she is with kids, probably playful but rough. She's an 85lb goofball who has no idea how big she is.
She really is a fantastic dog, but she can NOT live in a home with small pets: cats, small dogs, etc.
I will be very choosy who I rehome this dog to. She deserves an excellent life, I love her very much and I am heartbroken to make this decision. Asking $500, comes with toys, bowls, bed, collar, leashes, backpack, vet records, some food.
