Project yearling mare
Description
I have a young grey roan mare looking for a new home!! She is a year old as of about two weeks ago. She weighs approximately 575 pounds. I bought her at an auction and as far as I have noticed she has no health concerns. She does have a small hernia on her stomach close to her back leg so I would not recommend breeding her. She is a very curious horse and although she is untouched with enough time she should be a fast learner. She will follow you on her own terms but that is simply because she is nervous. She will grow to be a decent size, she has long legs and a nice hind quarter. She was easy and calm getting into the trailer as well as out however she is NOT halter trained. I’ve started to call her May however definitely has no set name, May does great with other animals and is pretty quiet. She has had associations with dogs, cats, and other horses and has done amazingly. I truly believe with work and the right home she will thrive to succeed. She would make a beautiful barrel, roping, any kind of rodeo horse just by judging her figure. She is grade (not registered) and is unfortunately unable to become registered. I would love to see May go to the right home where she will be given the time she needs. She is not being sold to any fault of her own simply because I have another yearling and won’t be able to give her the time she needs while also working with my colt. Her feet look in pretty decent condition no severe cracking, curling, or too much over growth. I was told that she was friendly and less nervous until an incident where she tripped in a shoot; I cannot attest that this is true although it would make sense why she seems like an in the pocket horse waiting to come out of her shell. She will grow up to be a large beautiful quarter horse who I could see reaching many achievements. Located just outside of Dawson Creek. Pm me for more information.
