Learn on the job training in our flag ship location in Langley-21846 52nd Ave from our fully qualified instructors. Registration is only 779.00 and is payable in two payments!
Your Course Certification and Evaluation will enable you to apply at any School District, Township, City, Municipality, Hospital, Long Term Care Home, College, University, etc. Trained Custodians are always in demand, and our course is the only one that can proudly state we have Supervisory staff from School Districts like Surrey coming to our courses to look for future employees who will go on to earn an average wage of 23.00 per hour!!! Some BSW positions pay up to 32.00 per hour. And unlike other B S W Courses where you have to go off site for your practicum, we include it all in one location.
At this time Cleaners are an Essential Service which means They are always in demand!! After earning your Certification which includes a full evaluation on how you did in the program, you can go after jobs like the ones listed which are quite consistently available. Many doors to many job opportunities will open for you, and Surrey School District is just one of many choices throughout the lower mainland and beyond. But if you look at Surrey and Langley, they are having to bring in more and more portables all the time and building more schools due to the tremendous growth in those areas. More portables and more schools means more Building Service Workers! And our program is fully endorsed by major facilities such as Surrey and Langley School Districts who quite often send their supervisors to our programs to take a look at our students. Plus so many more job openings are coming around every day as a result of our aging work force with so many people retiring!
When you take our course, you are really taking an apprenticeship, because taking our program is not about listening to somebody telling you how to do the job, it's all about doing, and doing it right!! What that means is our courses are extremely HANDS ON!
Full training includes-WHMIS Certification, safe chemical handling, all cleaning procedures, floor machine techniques, auto scrubbing, spray buffing, burnishing , light scrubbing, scrubbing, stripping , re-waxing flooring, and much more!!!
Our evening courses run for 6 weeks-four nights a week-Mondays to Thursdays from 6-9:30 p.m. We also run all day Saturday courses in Langley which go for 9 consecutive Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
