The cottage is about one and a half hour from Ottawa, or half-hour North of Kingston on highway 15, locating on two acres of waterfront lot, at the end of the private road.
2 bedroom plus sleeping loft, west facing waterfront, with gazebo. There's a screened-in porch, few steps away from the water, with 185-foot of shoreline overlooking the vast open of lake-view.
It comes with a pedal boat, canoe, kayak. There are TV and DVD player; WiFi is available on-site. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also propane-gas BBQ outside. 4-piece bathroom with hot-water tank.
It has all the attractions that come with the historic Rideau System, which was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). The shopping is at Newboro (2km) or Westport (10km).
The water is deep, clean, perfect for swimming (no weeds) and all the other water sports. A gradual walk along the shoreline, or you can jump off the dock.
The fishing is amazing, good sized smallmouth bass are right off the dock, as well as walleye, and pike.
There's a fire pit for those cool nights with marshmallows. Badminton nets are on site.
No smoking, no partying. The cottage has been ideally suited for a couple, or a family with children. Due to allergy, pets are not recommended.
