Thunderbird For Sale Dodo #117 (previously J-Bird) is located at RVYC Jericho in Vancouver BC. $ 5,000 CAD This is an awesome boat that needs a new home. I no longer have the time to maintain this boat and I don’t want to see it deteriorate. It needs a bit of work but nothing major. The cockpit hatches need to be redone and the brightwork needs updating, etc. If you happen to know anything about this boat's past I'd love to hear about it. Dodo was saved during a 2021 refit. Three of the four chainplates and a forward cleat had rotted the hull and deck. During the refit, all of the rotted wood was removed, patched and reinforced. The boat is structurally sound. Purchased for a boat project that didn't happen as I went electric. Lofrans is the world leader for manual windlasses. No wiring or batteries needed!
