Enjoy walking and biking the quiet country roads or relaxing on the front porch, listening to birds and crickets and maybe catching a glimpse of a unique wildlife visitor or a gorgeous prairie sunset.
Fort Macleod itself is only minutes away, a beautiful and unique historic town with many interesting things to experience. Historic Main Street with it’s amazing architecture dating back to the early 1900’s offers unique shops, cafés, antique stores, the Empress Theatre, a brewery and more. The Fort Museum was founded by the NWMP in 1874 who came to protect Canadian sovereignty in the West and squelch the illegal American whisky trade. It was the first permanent police post in the British North-West– a must see! Play a round of golf on one of the oldest golf courses in the west or visit Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump (a UNESCO World Heritage site).
