Residential Framing Crew Members Wanted: Framers & Labourers (North Edmonton)
Looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join an established residential framing crew. We have a steady, consistent pipeline of work lined up and are looking for team players who take pride in their work, show up on time, and have a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
We work primarily on the North Side of Edmonton. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.
Position 1: Experienced Framers
We are seeking skilled framers who can hit the ground running. You should be confident in all stages of residential wood-frame construction.
What you’ll do: Handle floor layouts, build and square walls, stand trusses, sheet roofs, and work safely at heights.
Requirements: Proven framing experience, strong blueprint/layout comprehension, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Position 2: Framing Labourers (Entry-Level / Apprentice)
No prior framing experience required, but a stellar work ethic and common sense are non-negotiable.
What you’ll do: Learn the trade from the ground up. Tasks include jobsite clean-up, packing lumber, shovelling snow, assisting experienced framers, and safely learning to use
power tools (circular saws, air nailers, staplers).
Compensation & Logistics
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate based strictly on your experience, framing abilities, and attitude.
Vacation Pay: 9.6% added.
Schedule: Standard hours (No overtime available).
Payroll: Paid bi-weekly by cheque. Please note: We operate on standard payroll with full source deductions. We do not hire subcontractors, piece-workers, or pay cash.
Requirements for All Candidates
Transportation: Must have your own reliable vehicle to get to various jobsites on the north side.
PPE Required on Day 1: CSA-approved steel-toe boots and a hard hat.
Required Hand Tools (For Framers & Expected for Labourers over time): Tool belt/pouch, framing hammer, tape measure, chalk line, and utility knife.
