WHY CHOOSE PADDLE CANADA?
Paddle Canada sets national standards for instruction and certification for recreational paddling: canoe, kayak and stand up paddleboard (SUP). Every year, nearly 2200 Paddle Canada certified instructors deliver sanctioned courses to more than 10,000 paddlers across Canada. Paddle Canada certifications are nationally accredited and internationally recognized.
Paddle Canada works directly with Transport Canada to ensure that:
1: We teach the most up to date and accurate Canadian Regulations and Standards.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:
Kayak (preferably 13' or longer) Rentals are available.
Kayak Paddle (spare is also recommended but not necessary)
Transport Canada Approved PFD
Pea-less whistle (available for sale at shop)
Kayak Cockpit Skirt (we have some for sale at our shop)
Boaters Safety Kit (meeting transport Canada requirements, for sale at our shop)
Towel
Change of clothes
Winter hat
Pair of nylon shorts
Non-cotton blend sweater and shirt
2L of water

Paddling dry top
Wetsuit or farmer john
Paddling shoes or crocks
Notebook and pen
Lunch
This course is the first portion of the 5 level (including intro) Paddle Canada Sea Kayaking program. As such all paddlers that successfully complete the course will be presented with a Paddle Canada Intro Level certificate.

Participants are requested to contact us as soon as possible as availability is limited and we will need to register each participant with Paddle Canada before the start of the course.

Courses will be offered at Nerepis Marsh with alternate locations of Dominion Park and Fisher Lakes in case of wind.
