We are looking for a Journeyperson/Apprentice Sheet Metal to efficiently undertake a variety of Sheet Metal and gas fitting tasks ranging from rough in and finishing of complete residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Candidate will be responsible for performing work, at times, independently with confidence and solve problems quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be accepted immediately into our team with a permanent and full-time position. Pay range that is offered will be based off experience.
Responsibilities and Duties·

- Assisting with customers' queries in a respectful manor
- Fill out all necessary invoice documentation for each customer

Installs, examines, replaces, or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
Sizes and installs electrical circuits including panels, wire size and type, conduit, protective devices, switches, and related equipment needed to comply with the CEC and/or NEC.
Fabricates, installs and/or runs conduit, 3-Phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting and panel work.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Your new role

As a heavy equipment technician, you will need to be able to think logically and keep up with changes in technology. What you'll need to succeed
You will possess a Journeyperson or red seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification. You will have experience in repair/maintenance of heavy duty equipment. 5 years of experience with Komatsu, John Deere, CAT, Hitachi, or other brands Equipment is considered an asset, but other brands of heavy equipment in similar sizes and models will be considered too . You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills to the team.

About the Location: This role is located in the area of Fort St. John and operates on a shift that is Monday to Friday in the location of Fort St. John. You may occasionally work in the surrounding area in which SMS will provide the necessary accommodations.
Your new role
You will be responsible for working in the field with a service truck to perform assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs and complete overhauls of heavy equipment servicing the construction, mining, forestry, and utility industries. You will need to be able to make recommendations and suggest methods of improvement regarding repairs.
As a heavy equipment technician, you will need to be able to think logically and keep up with changes in technology. You will interpret work orders and technical manuals to guarantee top customer satisfaction. You must be motivated and able to work in a challenging environment and have strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess a Journeyperson or red seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification. You will have experience in repair/maintenance of heavy duty equipment. 5 years of experience with Komatsu, John Deere, CAT, Hitachi, or other brands Equipment is considered an asset, but other brands of heavy equipment in similar sizes and models will be considered too . You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills to the team.

We are looking for a Journeyperson/Apprentice Sheet Metal to efficiently undertake a variety of Sheet Metal and gas fitting tasks ranging from rough in and finishing of complete residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Candidate will be responsible for performing work, at times, independently with confidence and solve problems quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be accepted immediately into our team with a permanent and full-time position. Pay range that is offered will be based off experience.
