Three bedroom cottage only feet away from waters edge. Western exposure with great sunsets over lake. In front of you is lake. Behind you is 160 acres of Canadian shield that is part of cottage lands. Includes canoe, kayaks, paddle board, bbq, fire pit, diving dock, 2 bed bunkee and screened gazebo..
Details:
Cottage has three bedrooms, three piece washroom and a great room with 17 foot ceiling. The cottage is approx. 900 square feet, It has painted wood floors with no carpeting.
Sleeps 6 in cottage and two children in bunkee.
The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, toaster, blender, coffee maker, crock pot.
There is a screened gazebo at the lake. There is also a Bunkie with two bunk beds. Both buildings have power.
The porch overlooking lake is 7x30 feet. There is 350 square feet of deck at lake attached to a 24 foot dock. There is a floating dock further out in lake for diving.
There is a utility shed which contains adult life jackets, axes, paddles, hot dog sticks, lawn chairs and tools. There is a bbq with provided propane. There is a fire pit.
There is a canoe, 3 kayaks, peddle boat, paddle board . There are paddles/ ores for all boats. You can rent assorted watercraft nearby such as a pontoon boat.
There is a cell phone tower across the bay for cell phone use. There is no land line at cottage.
Laundry- The nearest laundromat is in Perth (45 minute drive)
The closest town with amenities is Sharbot Lake. It is a 15 minute drive from cottage.
Nearby attractions: Bon Echo Provincial Park, Trans Canada Trail, White Lake Fish Hatchery. Golf courses- 30 minutes. Lots of local artisans.

A $300.00/ per week deposit is required. It is refundable if you cancel within 60 days of rental. I need the full payment one month prior to your arrival.
Reduced rates available for parties of 2.
Garbage removal not included in rental. You have to take garbage to local landfill site before you leave.
There is no smoking inside cottage.
Well behaved pets are welcome. There is an extra $100.00 deposit required for pets.
There is no air conditioning but the buildings are well shaded
The cottage is rented from 4pm Saturday to 11 am the next Saturday unless otherwise agreed.

The park is very friendly, very clean and very well manicured and maintained. The management takes great pride in the appearance of the park and keeps it well maintained. The park model has all the required needs, fully equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, fridge, stove, microwave, bedding for the queen bed and the hide-a-bed pull out in the front room, television, internet can be activated for wi-fi, barbecue outside on the patio, outdoor table and chairs. shed, covered car pad and patio area. There are also 2 orange trees on the property. It is available on a monthly basis and preferably consecutive months in a row at US$2000.00 per month. The electrical bill, internet and TV cable, if you so choose, are the only added expenses and is your responsibility. Ours is a cozy, comfortable home with mountain views. It is a hop, skip, and a jump away from the pool and hot tub. Laundry facilities are conveniently located in each building. Our place has one bedroom with queen sized bed and so is ideally suited for two guests. However, if you wish, there is an air mattress available for your use in the event that you have overnight guests or children. We have a well-appointed kitchen for your cooking needs. Linens, bath towels and pool towels are provided.
What you will love about this neighbourhood:
We are in a gated community in beautiful Palm Springs. Our community has 6 heated pools and 6 hot tubs available for your use, all of which are maintained on a daily basis. There are 3 tennis courts, pickle ball, and outdoor shuffleboard courts. The mature, landscaped grounds are well kept, and are inviting for leisurely walks around the community.
We are a block away from the Palm Springs Tourist Office, 5 minutes away from downtown Palm Springs, and 9 minutes from the Tramway at the base of Mt. San Jacinto - one of Palm Springs premiere attractions. There are numerous hiking trails on the mountain and throughout the canyons around Palm Springs. If you enjoy golf, there are over 100 golf courses in the area, complemented by 350 days of sunshine! If you love to shop be sure to head down to the Cabazon Desert Outlet Mall - a huge collection of designer stores 20 minutes drive from Palm Springs. In addition, there is a plethora of music, film, food, and art festivals throughout the year including the world famous Coachella Music Festival held for two weekends every April.

For those who are considering taking advantage of our special summer rate, we have taken many family vacations to the area during the summer months and so have a few suggestions on how to make the most of it. Palm Springs is "desert hot" in the summer. That's for certain. However, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway offers summer passes, where you can escape the summer heat at the top of the mountain. This is a good thing! The Summer Pass is available from May 1st, 2024 - $85.00 Adults & Seniors (65+) and $45.00 Children (ages 3-10). The tramway is literally down the street from our condo complex. So, first thing in the morning, we pack cherries and pistachios, then head up the mountain to take advantage of the scenic hiking trails and the amenities offered - including restaurants, maps, a store, a ranger station and such. In the afternoon, we might go for a refreshing swim, take in a movie or treat ourselves to a massage. Evenings are beautiful! Time for an evening stroll to discover what this town has to offer. That includes numerous gourmet patio restaurants and events such as "Village Fest" - a popular street fair held every Thursday night. For those that like to golf, we suggest an early morning start. Keep in mind that Palm Springs is within a two hour drive of Anaheim, Los Angeles (Hollywood), and San Diego. Las Vegas and Phoenix are four hours away. Or consider a day trip to Idyllwild, a beautiful mountain village within an hour's drive. When visiting Palm Springs during the summer we often opt for a short side vacation (3-5 days) to the coast to comfortably enjoy exciting attractions such as Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World, Lego Land, and the world famous San Diego Zoo. Our Palm Springs Condo would make an excellent home base to explore the area.

We loved beach volleyball, tequila volleyball, the pageants, the iron man competition, battle of the sexes, couples trivia, music and movie trivia, daring darts, and numerous other activities. Never a dull moment! Even though this is ADULT ONLY and ADULT THEMES, we found it very comfortable. Not everyone is topless but if you chose to go topless it is not a big deal as everyone is very comfortable. The resort is very classy. We are NEVER bored and we have so much fun!
