VACANCY FILLED: 1 Bedroom in a 2 Bedroom Apartment
Description
1 bedroom available in a 2 bedroom, plant-filled apartment - Available September 1st. ***Non-Smoking
Hi! I am a 31 year old professional looking for someone to take the second bedroom in my quiet apartment. I am a pretty quiet individual and end up travelling a lot throughout the year. I work from home and require a quiet space during the day, so please consider if this fits with your lifestyle.
I currently do not have any pets, but I have lots of plants that keep me company, so if you're like me and enjoy living in a jungle house, this is the apartment for you! If you have a plant friendly cat, they are more than welcome here as well.
Ideally I am looking for a mature student or professional to share the space with me. All gender identities are welcome.
The apartment is a 2BDR/1BTR 2nd floor unit in a secure uptown building with a storage room with laundry in-unit, and building amenities of a social room and a small gym. As an added bonus, the gym is just 10 steps down the hall from the apartment, and I use it almost every day! We have mail delivered to our building, and Canada Post drop boxes as well for larger shipments. There is an off-street parking lot, and we are each allowed 1 vehicle.
The bedroom is unfurnished and has 1 closet. The rest of the apartment is shared, and I even have an apartment sized freezer that I am happy to share with my new roommate. There is room for a second couch, tv stand, tv (I don't have one, so please bring your own if you want one!), and some end tables or bookshelves, or whatever other furniture you want to bring with you.
Rent is $681 (It's a weird number, I know). Equalized utilities and internet are shared, working out to about $100/month. Total of $781/month to share a space with me.
If you've made it this far and are interested in becoming my new roommate, send me a message and let's chat to see if it's a good fit!
Note: If we choose to be roommates, you will need to pay a deposit for the amount of your rent, co-sign the lease and fill out a rental application form with the building management company. Rent is withdrawn automatically on the 1st of each month.
P.S.S. Here's my insta handle if you want to get a feel for me ahead of time.

This is my photography account, but it's the only one I use, so it should give you a good idea of the kind of person I am!
