ABOUT US:
The Carlington Community Health Centre (CCHC) provides a wide range of health, social and community services to residents of its catchment area. We focus on the broad social determinants of health that influence the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.
We are seeking four (4) passionate, dedicated, community-minded individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors.
CCHC is designated under the French Language Services Act of Ontario and accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.

ABOUT YOU:
• Commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of CCHC
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team
• Skills, knowledge or experience in some of the following areas:
o Accounting / Finance / Fundraising
o Anti-racism, anti-oppression and/or de-colonization
o Community engagement
o Connection to local small business community
o Government relations
o Non-profit and/or collaborative governance
o Quality Improvement measurement/evaluation

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
• All Board and Committee meetings are conducted in English
• Time commitment is 5-10 hours per month September-June inclusive, plus one Saturday in October
• Currently, monthly Board meetings are held in-person and committees meet virtually
• Financial assistance is available for childcare and transportation to attend meetings
• Our By-laws require that the majority of Directors live within our catchment area and a minimum of two (2) Directors are French-speaking
