Job Title: Live-In / Live-Out Caregiver/Nanny For Two Children

Work Location: Barrhaven, Nepean, ON

Job Description:
The caregiver's main responsibility is to provide after-school care and overnight care for two primary school-age children with special needs (ages 6yrs and 8 yrs).

Job Type: Part-Time (2 weeks of every month)
Active Work Hours: 3pm-9pm (Mon-Fri), including overnight care when needed, and a few hours occasionally on Saturday.

Duties:
• Assist with school runs (pick-up at 3.00pm).
• Occasionally assist with meal preparation.
• Assist with implementing bedtime routines.
• Play games with the kids.
• Supervise their homework / lessons.
• Initiate and assist with the kids' activities.
• Occasionally assist with organizing and light housekeeping.

Qualifications:
• Previous nanny/caregiving experience for kids preferred.
• Must be a non-smoker and a non-alcoholic (required).
• Must love children (required).
• Reliable and empathetic with excellent communication skills (required).
• Must be fluent in English Language (required).
• Ability to speak either Punjabi, Tagalog, or Spanish a PLUS but not essential.
• Driving experience and access to a vehicle a PLUS but not essential.
• Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check (required).
• Minimum of two (2) References.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must be able to start asap.
