CNC Operator
Description
The Role:
You will be responsible for understanding and leveraging the full capabilities of our CNC.
You will report to our production manager while programming, operating and maintaining a three-axis CNC router to produce sub-assemblies and parts for creating joinery, kiosks, and display furniture in a dynamic custom-made production facility.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, program and use a CNC cutting table to manufacture or design parts and sub-assemblies with precise dimensions and specified tolerances while optimizing production times and material use.
2. Read and interpret purchase orders and plans and follow verbal instructions.
3. Clean and maintain equipment for all production departments.
4. Observe the quality system procedures.
5. May prepare a list of materials required to perform the work.
6. Maintain clean and functional workspaces.
Educational Requirements:
You have a diploma of professional studies (DEP) in the operation of production equipment, machining techniques or in a similar field of activity.
Preferred Experience:
You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
Knowledge Requirements:
You should have a good knowledge of tools and equipment and their maintenance and a solid understanding of the CNC machine and its operation.
Your Abilities
You should be able to read, study and interpret drawings and technical drawings accurately, understand required specifications and select materials and tools required to perform work. You should also know how to maximize the use of the CNC machine, anticipate and group parts to be shipped and prioritize work. Maintaining tools and equipment will be up to you.

Your Education:
You have an AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Your Experience:
You’ve been a CNC Operator for 2 YEARS (preferred)
Hours and Pay:
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. As our CNC Operator, you’ll earn up to $33.30 per hour, depending on your experience and capabilities.
