SUMMARY:

Assist Stone Installer in installing granite and other stone material at job sites.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Anticipate and assist job needs of Primary Installer.

· Maintain overall awareness of job status and requirements.

· Maintain Helper and Installer tools in proper working condition.

· Ensure proper materials and supplies are at job site.

· Maintain knowledge of job materials and supplies, including proper uses and applications.

· Correctly and safety use hand and power tools and equipment. Correctly utilize safety equipment.

· Keep job site, work area and Vehicle clean and well organized.

· Maintain a safe working environment.

· Maintain positive customer service.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Direct minor facilities maintenance as needed.

· Provide assistance at shop when needed.

EDUCATION/SKILLS

REQUIRED:

· Fluent and Literate in English.

· Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime.

· Current and valid driver’s license.

DESIRED:

· Ambition to excel and advance in trade.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Speak French

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:

Field position at job site. Must provide own Safety boots.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays Monday through Friday of each week, with some Saturday work.
