Unfortunately we are not able to use our time in paradise this year, so we are making it available for others to experience.
Stay as our guests at our oceanfront one-bedroom suite at Paki Maui Villas for up to 3 weeks, March 26 to April 16, 2026, for a weekly rate of only $1,505 (CAD) to stay all 3 weeks, $1,540 (CAD) per week to stay any 2 weeks, & $1,575 for 1 week.
Cleaning costs and other typical additional rental charges are all included and paid through our own condo fees. We are not in the condo rental business and only seek to cover our costs related the unit.
Paki Maui is located in the village of Honokowai, just north of Kaanapali Beach. Honokowai Beach Park is next door. The Beach Park is quite nice, especially if you have children. The reef close to the shore creates warm tidal pools during low tide periods, where even the little ones are safe from the ocean waves.
Just across the street from the Beach Park there is a coffee shop, a souvenir shop, and a beach and surf rental store. Across the street from Paki Maui there is a fish market (we love their fish burgers).
There is a larger grocery store (Times Market) you can walk to just up the road, toward Kaanapali. The same shopping centre has a restaurant (Java Jazz) with live music that we enjoy.
We often walk to Kaanapali Beach and stroll down the boardwalk in front of the nice hotels, or go to Dukes for dinner or brunch.
The Safeway at the north end of Lahaina is just a short drive away. Kapalua Beach and D T Fleming Beach are short drives to the north. Kapalua is great for snorkelling, and DT Fleming has great waves for boogie boarding.
We also love to walk the Kapalua Coastal Trail, from Kapalua to DT Fleming, with its great views from cliffs and lava flows.
Paki Maui has free parking for owners and their guests (you would be our guests); you just need to register through an online portal.
Paki Maui is a pretty basic type of place, but we find the building and location very nice (this unit has been enjoyed by our family members for over 40 years). There is a lawn with palm trees in front, and a small sandy area in front of the sea wall. There are 2 lava reefs that protect the shore area in front from big waves. We walk over the first reef (water shoes recommended) and swim or snorkel between the two reefs, safe from being swept away by the large waves and riptides that you can get at the larger beaches like Kaanapali or DT Fleming. Sea turtles often swim by, feeding by the reef nearest the shore.
The best thing about Paki Maui from our perspective is the view from the ocean-front suites like ours. We love to sit on our balcony (lanai) and watch the whales breaching and the beautiful sunsets between the islands of Lanai and Molokai.
Suite 107 is on the first floor, the fourth suite from the north end of the building. While it is called the first floor, it is actually raised up off the ground. We like the first floor as we don’t need to walk to the elevators in the centre of the building.
Our suite has a full kitchen, and we buy our own groceries and cook and eat most of our meals in our unit. The bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower (no tub). The living area has a reasonably comfortable sofa-bed, so the unit can sleep 4. There is a nice large-screen TV with cable channels and free internet. There is also a smaller TV in the bedroom.
PICTURES:
1. View of the island of Molokai from our lanai (balcony).
2. Similar view from the lawn area between the ocean and our building
3. View along the sea wall of the property, north toward Honokowai Beach Park (next door)
4. View while seated at the dining table on our lanai - watch the whales breach and the sea turtles swim by while you enjoy your morning coffee
5. Our comfortable living room couch
6. View from the couch toward the LED TV & dining area
7. Bedroom with queen-size bed
8. LR hide-a-bed couch, folded out into a surprisingly comfortable double bed
9. Full kitchen, adjacent to dining area
10. Pool, whirlpool hot tub & BBQ area
I can send more pictures if you would like to see more!
