Position Title: Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice
Team and Location: Commercial - Blyth, ON
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for safely completing all fleet and commercial mechanical repairs to trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Working under a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician.
Diagnose and complete repairs on all aspects of heavy equipment.
Administrative duties such as ordering parts and completing of work orders in the Fleet Management System.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma.
Apprentice status in Heavy Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic and/or Truck & Transport Mechanic.
Previous experience with repairing heavy duty equipment as asset.
Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
