The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in many of the daily duties of our operations, and provides professional leadership and direction to all related personnel. Front of House Supervisors primarily work in the pub at their respective campus, however they will also lend support to the Senior Manager – Hospitality & Operations and Kitchen Manager where necessary

Prior Restaurant and Management experience is greatly preferred. But having and showing the values above is an asset.
Duties of an Assistant Manager :
Employee Relations
• Assist with employee recruitment, promotions, hiring and dismissals
• Assist in scheduling and conducting regular employee performance reviews
• Facilitate a consistent orientation process for all employees
• Organize, support and inspire staff
• Respond to staff needs professionally and respectfully
• Develop and build team relationships
Administrative Duties
• Develop all schedules and provide to GM for approval
• Maintain inventory control of liquor food, sundries, utensils and dishware
• Provide appropriate and timely information to staff regarding promotional products and events
• Assist with and / or supervise payroll
• Maintain accurate records related to labor sheets
• Manage cash, and conduct procedures for till count and change-over
• Perform the audit, balancing cash and sales
• Be responsible for the daily bank drop
• Attend to the ATM, bail VLT’s, balance floats
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of equipment, supplies, facility, etc.
• Assist in all details related to banquet services / events
• Must be available to work long hours, holidays, weekends and evenings and to be on call and willing to answer your phone at all hours when problems arise
Guest Services
• Regularly monitor quality assurance as it relates to food, services and facilities
• Develop a professional, friendly relationship with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Diffuse situations with unhappy customers
• Maintain a clean and efficient appearance in lounge and restaurant
Business Development
• Establish annual goals for your role
• Maintain awareness of current trends, with an eye to being a leader in hospitality services
• Assist GM in developing and facilitating the delivery of marketing goals and action plans
• Participate in regular meetings with GM and Kitchen Manager for the purpose of trouble shooting, employee development and strategic planning
• Actively develops a business network by participating in industry associations

Salary: $15.00 /hour
Culinary
Line Cook duties and responsibilities :
• Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
• Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant’s menu
• Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out
• Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination
• Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines
Line Cook skills and qualifications:
• Professional and responsible conduct
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Teamwork skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills
35-40 hours a week
No experience necessary
