Description
Bear Creek is an 18-hole golf course complete with Driving Range, Practice Area, Pro-Shop, Restaurant and Event Center.
Bear Creek hosts Members, Green Fee Players, Leagues, Socials, Corporate Tournaments, Weddings and Events throughout the year.
The Cook is responsible for the day to day cooking and prep work for the kitchen facility. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment. This position will report directly to the Clubhouse Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Prepare & Serve food & beverages in the Clubhouse
-Plan and prepare meal and specials for all events in the Event Center
-Maintain professional appearance (staff uniforms) & demeanor at all times
-Oversee the ordering/purchasing and inventory of kitchen supplies and food; monitor daily the food & beverage facility to ensure the quality of food & timeliness of service.
-Daily cleaning, vacuuming, mopping & garbage removal of kitchen,
-Ensure the food & beverage department runs smoothly, profitably, efficiently and within the guidelines of the law.
-Booking tee times & checking in customers for golf course & RV Park when available to do so
Rate of Pay:
Is negotiable, and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This is a Full-Time/Seasonal position and offers a competitive wage
