Bear Creek Maintenance is a licensed CVIP facility working on equipment from stem to stern, including trucks, trailers, motor coaches, light towers, and more! What you’ll be responsible for:
Diagnose mechanical problems
Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities
Follow procedures and guidelines as established by Bear Creek Maintenance
Complete all documentation associated with mechanical repairs of equipment
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Attend company training programs as required
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with other mechanics, drivers, and operational staff
Have basic tool requirements as established by Bear Creek Maintenance
What we are looking for:
As mechanics, it is our responsibility to complete repairs that ensure customers can safely operate their equipment. That’s why, as a technician, asking questions is an important quality to our shop when you’re unsure of how to properly repair equipment. Keeping customer service and safety in mind at all times will certainly excel your career at Bear Creek Maintenance!
Other qualifications include:
Fluent in written and spoken English
Clean Driver’s Abstract
Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Able to read, operate and comprehend computer diagnostics
Able to use an online portal for timesheets, filling work orders, etc.
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Can ask questions when unsure
Must be able to follow instructions
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
Additional Safety Tickets would be an asset
CVIP Certification would be an asset
