Volunteer TNR/Barn Cat Coordinator
Description
Arthur Animal Rescue is a non-profit group of volunteers working to save and help kittens and cats in Wellington County. The rescue has been in operation since 2015 and relies entirely on a network of volunteers to operate. AARC rescues and find homes for hundreds of cats each year.
Please note this is a VOLUNTEER position and is not paid.
AARC is looking for a volunteer Barn cat/TNR (trap, neuter, return) Coordinator
This position would include:
Reaching out to the public to bring awareness to the program
Responding to inquiries in a timely manner
Setting up all vet appointments for TNR's and coordinating that with the person inquiring
Maintaining a list of appointments booked and a wait list
Minimal commitment, potentially 3-5 hours per week and very flexible
Short term to start but potentially long term
The ideal candidate would:
Be able to communicate effectively with the public and other volunteers
Be organized and able to work independently
Be capable of using basic email, spreadsheets, and documents
AARC will provide training and constant support to the successful candidate.
This is an ideal position for resume building or volunteer hours!
