I have a 2.5 year old toddler and am a postdoctoral fellow looking for part-time, live out care. Because my child would mostly be sleeping while you are here, I can offer $15/hr with increases to be discussed.

I have to work out of the home two to three nights a week, with recurring weekly schedule to be negotiated (e.g., every Tuesday and Thursday). We can try to make schedule work on your end too, and then stick to it.

Sometimes, depending on start-time, I would ask for your help with bed-time routine. Often, and in particular, once she is used to you and you are both comfortable, I will have already put my toddler to bed. Most of the time you are here, she will be sleeping. You are welcome to relax and watch television, or use your phone etc.

After she goes to bed, I would ask for help to: load or unload dishwasher, put laundry from washer to dryer and/or fold one load of laundry, tidy up toys - all very light housekeeping, similar to what I would do if I were home. Not looking for cleaning services whatsoever! No hand-washing dishes, etc. I can prepare a more detailed job description to review with potential candidate.

My space is comfortable, and well-set up for your enjoyment and my toddler's fun - lots of toys and a good organized play set-up.
