SUMMER JOB: Ice Cream Cart Attendant

Looking for a fun summer job?
We’re hiring FULL TIME and PART TIME employees for summer of 2026!
DATES: JUNE 1 - AUG 31
JOB: Ice cream bicycle attendant
PAY: $16.85/hour, plus performance-based bonus
HOURS: Day 12-4pm, Evening 4-8pm, weekday and weekend shifts available
FLEXIBILITY: Select the days/times that work for you
LOCATION: Various locations available
Job Description:
Simply put, your job is to ride or push the vending cart around the assigned areas and make as many sales as possible! The work can be busy but it comes in waves, and there is always time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the cycling. People are always happy to see us, so it really is quite fun overall. There are opportunities to work larger events over the summer as well which are busier but come with an additional bonus. I'm looking for multiple candidates in Halifax and Dartmouth.
Tasks:
-Helping to load/unload vending equipment
-Stocking cart and taking inventory
-Cycling and pushing cart while standing
-Serving pre-packaged ice cream, drinks, and snacks to customers
-Handling cash and debit machine payments
-Weather-dependent (rainy/overcast days off)
What we're looking for:
-Punctual and trustworthy
-Friendly and independent
-Customer service experience is a plus
-Must be physically fit
-Enjoys working outside
-Can commit to specific days and hours regularly
This is a very fun and enjoyable seasonal job with flexible hours and good pay. Ice cream perks included.
