Are you a dessert enthusiast with a passion for delighting customers with delectable treats? Look no further! We are thrilled to announce that Waffle to Go is expanding our presence in the area, and we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Note that it is a new location, opening 1st April, 2024.
Location: 1686 Main Street West, Hamilton, L6S 0A2
Store Opening Date: 1st April 2024.
Interview: 15th March-21St March 2024.
Position: Waffle Wizard
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service Excellence:
• Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and inviting demeanor.
• Provide exceptional customer service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied.
• Educate customers about our delicious dessert offerings and assist in making their selections.
2. Food Preparation and Presentation:
• Prepare and assemble desserts according to [Dessert Brand Name]'s recipes and standards.
• Ensure the presentation of desserts is visually appealing and Instagram-worthy.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the preparation area.
3. Sales and Upselling:
• Promote new dessert items and seasonal specials to increase sales.
• Utilize persuasive sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell additional products.
• Work towards achieving daily sales targets and contribute to the store's overall success.
4. Cash Handling and POS:
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash and other payment methods securely and maintain proper records.
• Assist in the opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation.
5. Maintain Store Appearance:
• Ensure the dessert display is well-stocked and visually appealing at all times.
• Keep the serving area and dining space clean and tidy throughout the day.
• Collaborate with the team to restock supplies and maintain inventory levels.
6. Team Collaboration:
• Work effectively as part of a cohesive team, supporting colleagues during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve overall store efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a dessert-focused establishment, is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Monday- Sunday: 4pm- 11pm
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 8am-12pm
