We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to supervise and care for our children in our home. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that fosters the emotional and social development of our children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and care for children in the employer's residence or at the caregiver’s home.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and young children.
• Prepare infant formulas and change diapers as needed.
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for children, while also performing basic housekeeping tasks.
• Oversee and facilitate children's activities, including meal times and rest periods, as directed by the employer.
• Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for the children.
• Teach children personal hygiene practices.
• Attend to the emotional needs of children and promote their social skills.
• Implement discipline methods as specified by the parents.
• Provide age-appropriate educational experiences through structured activities, including games, arts and crafts, reading sessions, and outings.
• Transport children to and from school and appointments as required.
• Maintain records of daily activities and health-related information for each child, if necessary.
Employment Details:
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Work Schedule: 30 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Duration: Two years, with the possibility of extension
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in child care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
