2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD LB7
Duramax. I purchased this truck in 2018 and it's been a great and reliable truck but just recently purchased a new Duramax. The truck is bone stock and never tuned. Routine maintenance always done on time, including fuel filter, transmission inner/outer filters, oil changes, front/rear diffs and transfer case. Allison transmission shifts flawlessly and engine runs great.
Recent work done include,
-Fuel filter housing seal kit
-Pitman & Idler arm
-New starter in July 2025
-Both universal joints on the main drive shaft
-New a/c compressor, accumulator & orifice tube in 2025.
-New upper and lower rad hoses
-Under 15,000 km's on new BFgoodrich KO3's.
Problem issues,
-Needs new fuel level sending unit. Been setting trip meter and fueling every 425 kms to be safe.
-Typical rust on cab corners & rocker panels and some dings and dents on body but truck looks good for it’s age.
-Low coolant indication on dash, needs new sensor, level is never low.
-Change oil indication on dash. Can’t reset system after oil change completed.
-Rear view mirror direction & outside temp no longer works.
-Drivers side mirror cracked

- Firestone airbags
-Down pipe
- Front end level kit.
- Transfer case rud kit installed
