1985 Volkswagen Vanagon weekender package
Runs and drives great. I hate to part with it, but my family is too big to fit in it now, so I never use it anymore.
Here's some things that will help you get to know my friend Bernard, as my wife lovingly named this classic van.
It has:
• Original 1.9l 4cyl. watercooled boxer engine with approx. 280,000km
• 4 Speed manual transmission
• Original paint
• Riviera pop-top with bed that sleeps 1
• Rear bench has 3 belts and folds down into bed that can sleep 2
• Custom-built cabinetry including 2 fold out tables
• 12V Bar fridge with aux marine rv battery
• Custom privacy curtains for all windows
• Battery, bushings, ball joints, exhaust, distributor cap+rotor, spark plugs+wires+solenoid all recently replaced
• Comes with new weatherstripping for pop top
• Stored inside every winter
• Odometer stopped working at 250,000km during previous ownership, so milage is a guess.
• No A/C or power steering
• Minimal rust in body seams, but the under carriage is extremely clean
