Project Manager - Construction

Job duties:
Plan, oversee, control and evaluate construction projects from preliminary tendering to post construction services;

Ensure projects are compliant with approved schedule, specifications and budget;

Oversee and approve the purchase of building materials and subcontractors for projects;

Meet regularly with stakeholders to evaluate construction progress, outline milestones and address construction issues and problems;

Assess and implement quality control measures across projects;

Prepare progress reports and report to senior management and clients

Hire and fire staff and subcontractors

Represent the company through interactions with governmental organizations and private clientele

Terms of employment:
Permanent, Full-time

Wage:
$47.00 per hour

Location of work:
Lindsay, ON

Skills requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or in related field

3 years to less than 5 years experience in the construction industry

Prior work experience in supervisory or managerial roles within the construction industry is required (i.e. construction project management, field supervision, etc.)
