Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various construction projects, learning the trade and developing essential skills in carpentry and related tasks.
Duties
Assist experienced carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
Learn to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including saws, drills, and measuring instruments.
Participate in masonry tasks such as concrete forming.
Help assemble structures, ensuring they are plumb, level, and square.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic knowledge of carpentry or construction practices is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry projects.
Experience or interest in concrete forming is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to learning the trade.
