Farm Operation Supervisor

Suncrest Hill Orchards Inc. is seeking an experienced Farm Operations Supervisor to oversee daily orchard operations and supervise seasonal farm workers. The successful candidate will coordinate work activities, ensure quality standards are maintained, and assist in the efficient production of fruit crops.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- Schedule and assign daily work duties.
- Monitor crop production, harvesting, pruning, irrigation, and orchard maintenance activities.
- Train workers in safety procedures and farm operating practices.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.
- Maintain production records, employee attendance records, and inventory reports.
- Inspect orchards and identify operational issues requiring attention.
- Coordinate harvesting schedules and transportation of produce.
- Assist management with workforce planning and productivity improvements.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in orchard, agricultural, or farm operations supervision.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of fruit crop production, harvesting, and orchard management practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's licence is considered an asset.

Benefits:
- 21.00 to 27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 60 hours per week
