Hello! I truly enjoy tutoring and teaching:
• My name is Hanna. I have 25 years of teaching experience and am a fully qualified Ontario Secondary School Teacher (licensed to teach all subjects Grades 4-10 and Grades 11 and 12 Art).
• I have a Bachelor of Fine Art from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University.
• I have taught Secondary School (Gr.6-12) in Canada, Germany, Egypt and Uganda.
• My specialization is Visual Art, but I am comfortable teaching English, French and the Humanities up to and including Grade 10.
• Since returning to Canada in August, I have enjoyed tutoring students in Grades 5 through 9 in French and English and giving private Art lessons. It is great to be able to give a student the one on one attention and focus they need to progress.
• I am committed, enthusiastic, resourceful, flexible, well organized and prepare thoroughly. I make a point of finding means of making the learning relevant to the individual student, building on their personal interests wherever possible.
