Ashly Fet 200 Power Amplifier
Description
Ashly Fet 200 Power Amplifier
100 watts per channel of wayyyy overbuilt power.
Hitachi MOSFET transistors, and a ridiculous (over)sized power transformer. Way under rated at 100 watts per channel. Very heavy. IIRC, about 350 watts bridged mono. Very non wimpy in power delivery. Look at the rated power consumption on the back (when under full 4-ohm load). Rated at almost 200 watts per channel into a 4 ohm load. That's why it's so heavy, it requires a proper power supply to double the power like that. Good amplifier = heavy amplifier (99% of the time...). Simple.
From the time when things were built right. Also, the output transistors are worth at least as much as I am asking, so low-balling will get you nowhere. I've got three, no four other amplifiers that uses these transistors. I'm a fool for thinking of letting them go....(this is also a matched set of 4 of each type, doubly expensive.

(I tend to leave some of my old adverts up so I can have a sales record of sorts, since there are none around here)
