At Cataraqui Dental Centre, 476 Cataraqui Woods Drive, Kingston, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers, and facilitating a positive patient experience. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and experience in a dental office setting. Candidates must have valid HARP certification and Level 2 NDAEB certification or be a current CDHO Registrant.
Responsibilities
Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers and patients to ensure all necessary information is communicated effectively.
Maintain accurate electronic records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Assist in scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and consultations to optimize patient flow and care.
Educate patients about their treatment options, financial responsibilities, and insurance coverage.
Utilize knowledge of dental terminology to assist in the documentation and communication of patient care needs.
Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the role.
