Tips on how to add these plants to your aquarium/bowl:
Java Ferns should be attached to driftwood/rocks/statues with cotton string/fishing wire/plant-safe-glue. The roots should not be planted into the substrate - if they are they will rot. Java ferns can also float freely.
Moneywort can be planted directly into the substrate. Trimmings can be planted directly into the substrate and will generate roots. Moneywort can also float freely at the top of the tank.

My tank has 6-inch minnows that seem to eat all the small snails and eggs.
To further eliminate the chance of introducing viable snail eggs, you can choose to complete a salt dip. Dip them into a solution of 1 gallon: 1 tablespoon non-iodized salt for 10 minutes, then give them a thorough rinse with clean water.
