High school math and physics tutor in Kitchener-Waterloo
Description
Why me?
-----------
I started tutoring since grade 6, gaining experience up until grade 12 last year. I then graduated at the top of my class from the challenging high school curriculum known as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, where I remotely tutored as an extracurricular activity. Now, I am a recent high school graduate studying Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where I continue to feedback, suggestions, and knowledge to current high school students.
My goal is for students to (1) acquire new knowledge and (2) better understand the knowledge they gain in school, and I ultimately hope you succeed far more because of it. I am more than happy to sit down and discuss new concepts, guide you with self-imposed or school homework, and help you review for exams and tests. Looking forward to meeting you!
What do you teach?
-------------------------
I'm offering a chance to tutor high school students in the following subjects:
- Mathematics:
- Functions (linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, reciprocal, etc.)
- Calculus (limits, differentiation, and integration)
- Vectors (basics of vectors, vector equations)
- Physics:
- Kinematics
- Dynamics
- Electricity
- Waves
- Modern physics
Where will it take place?
-----------------------------
I will be offering online sessions via Google Meet for any student worldwide! If you need technical support to prepare for our sessions, let me know and I can help troubleshoot your issue in our first meeting with each other. Any troubleshooting-focused session is on the house! I also offer in-person sessions on a case-by-case basis.
What kind of sessions do you take?
-------------------------------------------
I'm open to everything! Whether you are looking to learn a new concept, go over homework, or review for exams, I am more than happy to share my knowledge with you and support you. Just let me know what you need to get done, and I'll make a lesson plan to accommodate for your specific session.
What sets you apart?
---------------------------
I believe that deeply and clearly understanding what you learn makes a difference to how you perform, and this belief is what guides my teaching style. As well, I wholeheartedly support different ways of understanding concepts, as I believe that every student is different.
