Are you an experienced and safety-focused forklift operator looking for a challenging and rewarding career? Join our Client's team in an Aluminum Plant in Kitimat BC as a Forklift Operator!
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating SD counterbalance (gas) forklifts to move items on and off trucks, including hot items to smelting pots. While certification is not required, extended experience of 5+ years is preferred. All operators must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions.
The job schedule is 5 days a week, 12 hours per day, with both day and night shifts available. You must be accustomed to hard work and be able to work in a hot environment while wearing full PPE suits. The ideal candidate will have a construction or industrial labour background and be comfortable working with tools. Experience with forklift or AWP is an asset.
